Y39 Slytherin Practice S1

Indi approached the hoops as fast as she could and threw the quaffle and swore again as she missed the mark.

Once again, Celia decided to follow the bludger for some distance before trying to hit it. But just as she was about to swing her bat, the second bludger shot towards her. Celia pulled into a steep dive to avoid getting hit, and both balls flew out of range. Scowling, she resumed her hunt.

Ivelisse circled around the pitch, looking for a tiny hint of gold.

Indi was still bitter about her missed shot but she hovered by the hoops to see who would make the next move so she could follow close behind.

Lucie wasn't going to give up any time soon. She threw the quaffle back out when she caught it and watched as the same chaser grabbed the quaffle again.

Ivelisse continued her search.

Ruben kept searching the pitch, this time flying a bit lower just in case the snutch was closer to the ground.

Well at least she wasn't getting hit herself, Celia thought, as she dodged another bludger. That would be pretty pathetic considering she had a bat. She chased after the bludger that had just tried to take her out and hit it across the field, where it flew between two chasers but hit neither.

Ivelisse glanced to where Ruben was flying, but he didn’t see much more succesful than she was at the moment.

Ruben kept the search for the snitch going, the little thing was nowhere to be found.

Liusaidh was pretty pleased that Indira missed, but she also didn't want to have to carry all of the chasers. She grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out and headed towards a keeper.

Celia wondered if she should maybe start defending her teammates from bludgers before deciding that wasn't her responsibility. At least not during a practice, when no one was aiming for them. If her teammates couldn't dodge errant bludgers, that was their problem.

Ivelisse hoovered in place for a second, wondering if she’d have more luck when she wasn’t constantly moving.

Natalia yelped and cursed under her breath at the bludger hit. She tried to recover and go after Liusaidh, but it was difficult to keep up.

Ivelisse was proving impossible to hit, so Celia decided to go back to targeting Ruben. She carefully lined up her next shot and sent the bludger in his direction, but it quickly swerved away. She wondered if the bludgers were purposefully trying to make her life difficult.

Ruben was starting to feel the frustration growing from not finding the snitch.

Celia chased after another bludger, but as she closed in, the ball suddenly reversed direction and hurtled towards her. With a yelp, she forced her broom downward, dropping in the air. She paused to catch her breath. Lesson learned: she shouldn't follow bludgers too closely.

As soon as Liusaidh was close enough and threw the ball through the centre hoop and grinned when it sailed past the keeper.

Daintree was pleased that everyone but him was having success.

Indi smirked as Natalia got hit by a bludger and she was able to get ahead just enough to snatch the quaffle as it was thrown back into the game after Liusaidh made yet another goal. She kept the ball tight against her side as she made her way around the pitch.

Ivelisse watched the other players for a second before focussing back on her search.

Parker succesfully managed to stay alert on the quaffle and also managed to look after what was going on on the pitch a d cheer on everyone that did something.

Celia lined up another shot and smacked the bludger as hard as she could, but it flew harmlessly over the person she'd aimed at. She wasn't sure why she wasn't hitting anyone. Weren't bludgers supposed to be charmed to chase after people?

Ivelisse started to slowly get a little annoyed that she couldn’t see the snitch anywhere but quickly shook it off again.

Ruben kept searching the snitch and from time to time looking at Ivelisse who seemed to be growing a little annoyed too.
