Y39 Slytherin Practice S1

Daintree wasn't having much luck at all, but he kept focused, flying around looking for bludgers and keeping a closer eye on the game.
 
Liusaidh was following Indira, she didn't think the other girl would passed, after all, Liusaidh would've never. But she followed in close just in case she opted to.
 
Ivelisse didn’t pay too much attention to what other players were doing, focussed on trying to find the snitch.

Indira was taking her sweet time with the quaffle and Natalia had enough. She flew closer to the other girl and elbowed her sharply, managing to take the quaffle from her.

Ruben saw Ivelisse catch the snitch again so obviously he congratulated her for it but he started paying extra attention to the snitch now he was not gonna let her outshine him. Once the girl released it again Ruben started searching it again, he had to find it! Not too long after he spotted the golden orb and started pursuing it until he finally wrapped his fingers around it only to let it go a few seconds after. He was not letting the newbie get cocky.
 
Natalia felt pretty good about taking the quaffle from Indi, but when she actually headed to the hoops she failed to score. Natalia scowled.
 
Celia was having very little luck, and she wondered if she needed to switch targets. She'd mostly been aiming for Ruben, but he was very fast and one of the more experienced members on the team. When the next bludger flew towards her, Celia hit it with a backhand swing, aiming for Iveliesse. But the bludger overshot the seeker by several feet, leaving Celia to glare at the ball.
 
Ruben kept searching the pitch, hoping to find the snitch once more.
 
Ivelisse looked towards where Ruben was flying for a second to see if he had noticed the snitch before focussing back on herself.
 
Another bludger came Celia's way, but she wasn't able to angle her bat to actually aim at anyone. The ball rebounded off her bat with a sharp crack and sailed away, steering clear of any players. It was like the bludgers didn't even want to hit anyone.
 
Ivelisse continued looking for any sign of the snitch.
 
Ruben kept an eye on both the snitch and Ivelisse just in case she would find it first.
 
Despite her lack of success so far, Celia wasn't about to give up anytime soon. The more bludgers she hit, the more likely one would find its way to her target. She raced alongside one of the bludgers before reaching out and hitting it as hard as she could, sending it straight into @Ruben Right. Finally. She grinned at the seeker, wanting him to know it was her, before chasing after another bludger.
 
Liusaidh grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out and began to circle back to the hoops. She hoped she'd score again.
 
Daintree wasn't hitting anything yet but he was pleased when the young beater managed to hit one.
 
Ivelisse slowed down for a second when she noticed Ruben get hit by a bludger, knowing that was going to be her fate too sooner or later.
 
Indi swore when Natalia stole the quaffle from her but was at least pleased when she missed, again. Unfortunately Liusaidh grabbed the ball again and she followed closely wanting to get her shot.
 
One seeker hit, another to go. Celia spotted a bludger arcing towards her, and she moved so that she could get a decent angle on it. Aiming for Ivelisse, she gave the bludger a mighty whack, but it missed the other girl and continued harmlessly towards the end of the pitch. Celia frowned, but she was determined. She'd already hit one person. She could hit another.
 
Natalia stayed close to Liusaidh, following her closely.
 
As soon as Liusaidh was close enough she threw the ball at the far left hoop and it sailed through. She cheered for herself.
 
Ivelisse decided to fly up a bit higher in the hopes of spotting the snitch.
 
Ruben was suddenly hit by a bludger while on his search for the snitch, those things still hurted as much as they did last year. He looked to see who had throw it and it seemed to have been the new beater, she was grinning so the Slytherin boy decided not to give her the satisfaction, he swallowed his pain and shouted at her "Good job! Keep that up.".
 
Indi clenched her jaw as Liusaida scored again but raced ahead of Natalia to grab the quaffle before the other girl could get her hands on it. She kept up her speed as she made her way around the pitch.
 
Celia hadn't had much luck hitting the seekers, so she decided to aim for one of the chasers instead. She smiled with satisfaction when her bludger hit @Natalia Novak. It was a low blow, maybe, but the rest of the team needed to practice their dodging skills anyways.

Lucie thought she had been doing pretty well so far and tried her best to keep focused and not let anything go past her.
