Beauxbatons,Practice
Xenia was feeling a little nostalgic as she took to the pitch for practice. It was her last year at Beauxbatons, and although it had taken her a long while to find her feet at the school, she felt pretty proud of how far she'd come. She was still working out what to do next, and what she could leave behind, but for now her main focus was going out on a high and guiding the team to victory one more time. She had gone for a jog around the pitch before starting and was feeling ready to go when everyone arrived.

"Bonjour mes copains," Xenia greeted, her French not nearly being as appalling as it was when she started (but still evidently that of a non-native speaker). "Make sure you have stretched and we will get to it. Er...if there is anything you want to work on tell me and we can do that. But you know your positions." She set the bludgers and snitch free, picking up the quaffle and tossing it over to the chasers to get started. "Allons-y!"

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina caught the snitch immediately and her writer wondered if there was something in the water at Beauxbatons and Ilvermorny. She giggled in delight before letting it go.

 

[Vincent Poe]

Vincent was barely in the air long when the other seeker caught the snitch. He gave her a thumbs up and a verbal good job before flying off to catch a snitch too.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia had barely started moving to the hoops when the younger seeker had the snitch in hand. She almost wanted to joke like, you're supposed to give it more of a head start than that. But it was a good sign, and she gave the girl a thumbs-up as she headed to unoccupied hoops.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina let the snitch get away before she started looking for it again.

 

[Vincent Poe]

Vincent kept flying to find the snitch.

 

[Bellamy Parish]

Bellamy was tentatively looking forward to practice. He was starting to feel a bit more comfortable in the air and was starting to think pleasing his mom wasn't the only reason he was on the team at this point. He got to the pitch a little before practice started and did some half hearted warms until it was time to get in the air. He took up his spot in front of his usual hoop and kept his eyes open for the chasers.

 

[Malik St. James]

Malik blinked and one seeker had already caught the snitch. He needed to concentrate himself, heading off afted a bludger and managing to give it a hearty smack. Though grimaced as it swerved off course and headed right @Bellamy Parish.

[Ava Hastings]

Ava was ready for practice, hopping onto her broom and sending a bludger straight for @Vincent Poe.

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia was impressed with the beaters getting into it quickly, and kept an eye out to make sure nobody was getting too hurt.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina wondered how the snitch could disappear so quickly, but she was going to have to watch out for bludgers it seemed.

 

[Malik St. James]

Malik flew after another bludger.

 

[Ava Hastings]

Ava flew towards the bludger Malik was chasing as well, just to make things a little more interesting.

 

[Bellamy Parish]

Bellamy let out a squawk as a bludger crashed into him. He managed to stay up right and not react like a total baby but it hurt.

Ava continued chasing the bludger.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina dodged the bludger and hoped she'd dodge the oncoming beaters.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

If there was one thing that Xenia hoped picked up next year after she left, however, it was the chasers. She examined her nails as she kept guard.

Nina kept looking for the snitch.

Xenia quietly wondered if she'd manage to get her Patronus Charm down for the final exams.

 

[Vincent Poe]

Vincent felt a smack of a bludger on his back that made him swerve on his broom for a hot minute before continuing his search.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina did a barrel roll.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia tried to refocus.

 

[Malik St. James]

Malik hit a bludger but it went nowhere.

Nina kept on looking for the snitch, figuring it had to be around somewhere.

Xenia kept watch.
