June didn’t focused on the people behind or beside them. She could not lose the concentration. That was in her study, but in everything she did. June believed they would win this. And she actually was suprised by how good Fraser did. She had made the right choice perhaps of choosing him. The blonde smiled and focused at the finish which seemed to get closer and closer. And figured she would not waste her breath anymore. She could feel her arms, but giving up was no option.

@Fraser Fergusson

Elise had decided that seeing was over rated and simply put her head down and tried to go as fast as her arms could carry her. But when the came to a stop she let out a whine. "I'm fine!" she shouted and reached back with a free hand to swat at her brother. "Keep going!!" @Ezra Ito

Miro continued stumbling along in the race, trying not to trip over Lucy in front of him as the wheelbarrow. It was tempting for him to look to his sides and see how they were doing, if anyone else was struggling but Miro tried to focus only on the ground and scenery in front of him, thinking if he gave himself the chance to be distracted it would cause them to loose. "Try to go as fast as you can, Lucy!" Miro called out as he stepped behind his friend.

@Lucy Holland

Dorian scoffed at Anisha’s response, talk about the cauldron calling the kettle black. “Don’t look at me, look ahead,” he groused, pushing a little faster because despite how annoying she was, Anisha was right, they had fallen behind some. “Just don’t fall,” he said, annoyance mostly masking his actual concern. Sure, he’d like to win, or at least not come last, but that meant he couldn’t get Anisha hurt even as tempt it was to angle her face into the dirt when she complained. @Anisha Khatri

Rāwhiti looked at Emery in disbelief, scrambling back to his feet. "No way!" He insisted. "There's no chance you can carry me, come on!" He gestured, trying to grab Emery's ankles again.
@Emery Mettlestone

This whole thing was harder than Lucy had expected, and she struggled a bit to keep her balance. Their path was a winding one, but at least she managed to stay upright as she charged on towards the finish line.
@Miro Morales-Albertson

Fraser could feel his arms weakening, this was good fun, and they were moving quickly, but he didn't do a lot of push ups. He was trying his best, knowing that it had to be over so, but faltering a little and only just catching himself from falling down. He couldn't, didn't want to let June down. Not at all.
@June Davenport

Benecio's jaw dropped at her words. How rude, he thought to himself. He took another few steps, feeling himself heading more towards the crowd and realizing he wasn't going straight again. He corrected and glanced up, seeing the finish line, still very much in the distance but at least in sight. @Tempest Vero

Anisha desperately wanted to snap back at Dorian, but she forced herself to focus on her hands, putting one in front of the other at a faster pace. She grumbled something when he told her not to fall, as if she had been planning to fall just to inconvenience him. But still mostly focused on what she was doing, there would be time to argue later.

@Dorian Fitzwilliam

FINISH LINE

OOCOut of Character:
The next team to cross the finish line wins! Both roleplayers have to post before they're considered the winners.

Amodeus was giggling, rushing with Teddy, trying to keep putting one hand in front of the other and trying not to trip. He wasn't even sure what they were doing where, but he was loving every moment of it. "We need to do this more often!" He called to Teddy, letting his friend be his eyes and just running where he was guided. @Teddy Pirrip

Elodie was trying to keep moving steadily, feeling her heart racing in her chest. "We got this!" She called to Artie, knowing she was putting all her trust in the girl to lead them. Still, she knew whatever happened, this had been the most fun she'd had in ages. @Artemis Vasilakis

"The finish line!" Teddy shouted to Amodeus as they approached the finish line, "Keep going!" Teddy kept running until they crossed the finish line. He dropped Amodeus' legs to the ground and cheered. "WOO! Did we win?" That had been a lot of fun

Amodeus yelped as he was dropped to the ground, surprised by the abrupt stop. He sat up, feeling a little dizzy, and looked around before looking to Teddy. "It's over?" He countered, surprised. @Teddy Pirrip

Fraser could suddenly see the finish line and began trying to really move quickly and moving toward the finish line, think they were going to cross it as one of the first pairs but from his position he couldn't really tell.
@June Davenport

"Yeah it's over, and we won!" Teddy exclaimed, his voice brimming with excitement. "Look, we're the first to cross the line!" Unable to contain his joy, he started bouncing up and down with unbridled excitement. He offered his arms out to Amodeus, inviting him to do the same. "Come on, let's celebrate!"
@Amodeus Jones

June saw the finish line and fast walked towards it and made her way over the finish line together with Fraser. She thought they had won since she didn’t saw someone in front. But noticed they were just a little bit slower, when someone else was screaming. Those stupid Gryffindors. Ofcourse, they wouldn’t mind eat dirt and all. Those beasts. June gave them an annoying look, and than sat down for an moment leaving Frasers legs. She was better than Tempest though, but second wasn’t good enough. She figured to keep herself together and catch her breath before reacting to Fraser. Because it was clearly not her fault they lost. June wouldn’t mind the extra’s in winning this, but it wasn’t like her life depended on it. Classes were way more important and her winning the housecup with Slytherin and for top point earner.

sky kept running on her hands waiting for the obstacles to appear in front of them, but so far the path was clear. it was then that she heard shouting from ahead and looked to see a couple of teams stopped and cheering. "come ne we are almost there" she called up to Ngawaiata speeding up. they wouldn't win. other teams already had but hopefully, they would at least be able to beat Raawhiti.

@Ngawaiata Martin

Anisha let out a string of curse words as she saw the finish line in sight and saw two Gryffindor´s cross before them. She urged Dorian on. "C'mon!" She said, trying her best to go faster. A second or third spot would do, she just needed to win something.

@Dorian Fitzwilliam

Artie could see the finish line, and though others have crossed it, she beamed as she and Elodie managed to make it across! "Yay, we finished the race!" Artie gently put down her ankles and held her hand out to help her dorm mate up. "First place would have been nice, but I had fun, what about you?"
@Elodie Wynshaw

Dorian nearly tripped as Anisha urged them forward, trying to chase down some other Gryffindors. "Alright, alright," he said, gritting his teeth and trying to keep pace, promptly dropping her ankles the second they'd crossed the line so he could catch his breath. @Anisha Khatri

Miro stumbled slightly as he tried to race forward, however soon caught himself and smiled as he began to see the finish line ahead of them. "I think I see the end!" Miro shouted, trying to run a bit faster behind Lucy but also not took fast so he didn't accidentally trip over her.

As soon as he crossed the finish line, Benicio let his body fall to the ground. He turned onto his back, completely drained of energy, his eyes unfocused as he just stared into the sky. They hadn't won, not by a long shot. And he wish he could say he had fun, but that hadn't happened either.

Elodie took Artemis' hand, smiling and standing back up again. "That was fun!" She offered with an easy smile. "We should hang out more often. Do you want to go get some ice cream?" She asked, thinking that was a great starting point. @Artemis Vasilakis

Tempest rushed and rushed until she saw people in front of them start to cross the finish line. At this point, it felt like it didn't matter if they actually crossed because they didn't win. But maybe there would be some kind of prize for the top 5 or something. She held on tight to Benicio's ankles until he crossed first, almost tripping her in the process. She let go of his feet as she tripped forward, catching herself. She was frustrated that even with her long legs, she hadn't been in at least the top three. The Slytherin looked down at her partner, not even offering to help him up, and pouted towards the edge of the lawn.
