Daniella was wandering around the corridors of the school. This terms she had her Wednesdays free, which meant she was able to do as she pleased. In all honesty the blonde knew she should be in the library studying, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it. It was still early in the school year and she'd have plenty of time to worry about her grades later on so for now she'd enjoy her free time.

The part veela soon discovered that her wanderings landed her no other place than the front courtyard of the school. She wasn't really a sunshine and daisies type of girl...that was part of what made her so different from her sisters. While they were all mostly social creatures who seemed to be popular and whatnot, Daniella had a tendency to keep to herself because she could never tell if people actually liked her for who she truly was or if it was because of her charms that came with the blood that ran through her veins. A gift some would call it, but there were times she reckoned it were a curse as well.

Annaleise skipped through the school, not having any idea where she was going. She loved it here, there was just always something for her to do around here, and there were a lot of people she could make friends with! There were also a lot of cute guys, but she wouldn't talk to any of those, just yet anyway. She was slowly starting to learn her way around the school, but it would sure be a lot easier for her if she had somebody to show her around. She thought so anyway, and she wished that she would be able to find somebody around here with which she could do that. Though she wouldn't hold out for that one, some people did tend to think that she was kind of weird, because she got shy around people she had never met before.

Still skipping, Annaleise seemed to have arrived outside the school, in a sort of courtyard. There were a lot of people out here, and she loved it. It was a chance for her to socialise, and maybe even make some friends, which is something she had wanted to do since she had started at this school. She noticed an older girl who was in a way away from the main bulk of people, and looked as though she wasn't very comfortable in social situations because of one reason or another, and she wanted to know why this was. One day her natural curiosity would end in a very bad situation for her, but she hoped it wouldn't this time. She walked over to the older girl, and put on a half smile. Trying to hide her discomfort. "H-h-Hey there." Annaleise said, failing miserably at what she had wanted to do. She was as shy as ever, and that might not work to her advantage.

Daniella looked up when she heard someone address her, or at least she assumed the young girl was addressing her. The young brunette was making eye contact with the veela and that let her know that she was indeed talking to her. With a warm smile that lit up her pretty face the blonde replied, "Hi there. Is there something I can help you with?" As a newly appointed prefect she felt it was her duty to be as helpful as possible to the younger students.

Sorry it's short and lame...I seem to have no muse today :/

Annaleise smiled at the older Prefect, and knew that she would indeed have to know her way around the school. Wasn't that usually a necessity for a Prefect anyway? You'd think they would know their way around the castle, usually it helped. "I just tend to get lost a lot, and I thought you might be able to h-h-help me with that." Annaleise said, slowly starting to get better at talking around the older girl. She didn't even know who it was that she was talking to, but she knew that she would have to figure out that part eventually, because she couldn't be friends with somebody that she barely knew. Annaleise skipped around in a circle around the older girl, not being able to stay still for long periods of time. "I'm Annaleise." She said.
