Amethyst was back at the school from maternity leave, and one would think that having his girlfriend around would have made Killian Borisyuk more at ease, but in all honesty, he was still a nervous wreck. His brothers and sister rotated with the daycare taking care of the baby. Killian did not want his son to call his brother ‘dad’ because he would throw a fit. Killian would have to teach his son the difference between him, Kaelan, and Kieran, should Kieran move to New Zealand. Even though he was outwardly calm, collected, and might even look standoffish, his mind raced with the possibility of proposing to Amethyst within the next few months. He already bought the ring, and just needed a time to propose, or a way. He clasped his hands together, rested his elbows on the desk, and rested his face in front of them. He was contemplating.

Mallory had been thinking since her run in with Killian before, and had decided that it was only the right thing to do to make him a baby basket. She'd made one for her sister, after all. She was eager to talk to him again, absolutely lost in the throes of baby fever, and had put together a nice basket. She'd included a few blankets and scarfs, some cute jumpers, and a few boxes of different exotic coffees she thought that the couple might like as parents. She walked to Killian's office, basket on her arm, and knocked on his door, unable to help the happy smile on her face.

Killian blinked several times to get out of his train of thought when he heard a knock at his door. With a small gesture, it swung open. Well, the smaller door since he doubted that there was another part-giant at the school who would need a door like his. His green eyes landed on Professor Corrins - no, Mallory. He could call her by her first name now. He noticed that she had some sort of basket on her arm. Wait, it was not valentine's day rose thing was it? F**k, he didn't even realize and now likely needed to make it up to Amethyst. "You look like someone cast a cheering charm on you." But didn't she always?
