Xinyi felt like an idiot. He'd gotten splinched. There was a lot of blood at first, but after the healer had seen to him he'd been told he wasn't too bad. He was settled into bed, his leg propped up as his wound knitted itself back together. It was sore, and they'd told him he'd have a scar for it, but mostly he was just embarrased. He sighed, shutting his eyes and just trying to relax. Maybe no one had noticed. But Aurora worked in the hospital wing, didn't she? That meant his friends would know soon, and he'd been in class with Jingyi. He just wasn't sure who would make it there first. If he was lucky, he could just hide this from everyone and pretend it hadn't happened.

Jingyi had headed straight to the hospital wing when Xinyi had gotten himself splinched. Of course Jingyi was worried, but he'd been told that it wasn't serious, and his brother would live. Which was good, of course, but that still didn't mean he couldn't be worried about it. He'd been told to wait outside while his brother was treated, which Jingyi certainly hadn't been very happy about. He practically barged past the nurse when he was told he could see his brother, rushing over to where he was laying. "Are you alright?" A stupid question, maybe.

Rosie had found out pretty quickly about the apparition, of course she had. Between everything in the school, news like this always spread. She had found out who it was and immediately headed to the hospital wing. She got the impression it hadn't been good, but not the worst it could've been. Rosie walked in and easily spotted the brothers in the wing. She approached them both and gave a smile, not immediately crowding Xinyi's side, not wanting to interrupt if Jingyi wanted to be closer. "Hey,"

Xinyi still felt a little shaky, and worried that he might still look pale and sweaty. He smiled at his brother as Jingyi rushed in- hating how shaky it was. "Yeah, totally good," He offered, shifting and wincing a little- his leg still hurt a bit. "All in one piece, anyway," He tried to joke. When he heard a familiar voice, he turned his head slightly and smiled again. "Hey, Rosie," He greeted, though he did wish a little that she didn't have to see him like this. "Let me guess, Aurora?"
