Alois Eisler stared listlessly into the reflective depths of coffee that had been delivered to him. He didn't know why he'd ordered it. He wasn't particularly fond of the taste of coffee, but he drank it anyway. He drank it in the comfort of his own home, but never ordered it. At one point in his life he took it with cream and sugar. Lately, however, he'd been forcing himself to develop a taste for drinking it black. Though he enjoyed the aromatic qualities that it boasted, he could get enough of that simply by sniffing idly around him at the busy café. It seemed like everyone had ordered at least one cup...probably for the reason that it was the cheapest item on the menu...which, in hindsight, is probably the very same reason he'd ordered his own cup. Every other item that had been listed was either too frightening for his wallet or not appealing enough to his stomach.

Today was the day when he was supposed to meet Amelia again, before she would set off to travel somewhere else. Honestly, he had been really looking forward till this day came, after all, they might not see each other again right? Hopefully, that won't happen. Sighing, he decided to think of the things that they could possibly do, he wanted her to have fun, so at least, she'll be able to remember him then. Smiling to himself, Alois turned to look at the cafe's glass pane windows, looking for that familiar face that he was supposed to meet.

Amelia spent a little bit more time that usual getting ready that day. Making sure her hair was perfect, she slipped her scarf around her neck and left her hotel room. Locking the door behind her, she checked her wand in her back left pocket and smiled, happy that it was safe. Her coat over her arm, she left the building, smiling at the hotel staff for no reason except that she was happy. Wandering down the road to the cafe she had planned to go to with Alois, she ignored the calls from across the street from random people. Seeing his face looking the other way down the street through the window, she walked up to it and opened the door, unsure whether she had been spotted or not yet. Walking over to his seat, she hovered nervously around the spare chair. "Can i sit? Or were you expecting someone else?" She asked, her tone friendly and her eyes sparkling with the joy of the morning and everything that had happened so far.

Alois was just adjusting his black tie when he heard the door to the cafe opened, but actually, he decided not to pay any attention to it, he was too focused with his own thoughts to notice it anyway. And besides, he didn't expect Amelia to arrive just yet, well, not until when he had heard the ever familiar voice of hers.

Quickly turning around, he had managed to conjure a smile to his face, "It would be a pleasure if you would accompany me mademoiselle." He said with a light laugh, standing up now to help her sit. He was actually glad that she did show up, after all, he knew that one way or another, she'll leave, and he had no choice but to let her be. Dismissing those thoughts from his mind, he sat back on his seat once again. "So, how have you been doing Amy?" HE inquired, checking to see whether the girl had had fun during the past days that they weren't able to see each other.

Amy laughed politely and sat down. Nodding, she ordered a coffee like he had and smiled at the leaving waitress. "Me? Im very good thank you. Not as tired as you found me the other day. And yourself?" She enquired as the lady returned a few minutes later with her drink. Taking a quiet sip of it, she smiled as the warm but slightly bitter taste hit the back of her throat. She looked around the cafe, pleased with the setting. It was quiet and delicate, a girly place but one with little decor so that anyone could fit in.

(OOC: Sorry for the lame post :jesse: )

"I'm doing fine, just had school works to catch up to, but all in all, I'm good." Alois said with a light laugh, watching as Amelia ordered her own coffee, this meeting of theirs was a rather casual one, unlike the one that they had before, they had had to meet through the use of a reckless child, and well, an annoying letter. Laughing once again at the thought, he turned to look at Amelia once again. "When will you leave Amy?" He asked her, dreading what her answer would be, sure, he did know that her leaving is an inevitable fact, but still, he wondered how long can they still enjoy each other's company.

Amy smiled and acknowledged his answer. Remembering that he had school work to do, she nodded slightly. Her professors would just give her a bundle of notes to catch up on and probably some more spells to practise. In general, it would take less time than the lesson itself without all of the teachers waffle about nothing in particular that was of any help. Sipping her coffee again, she momentarily reflected on how they had met. It had been different to other meeting that she had had, because it hadn't involved anything strange. It had just been two new friends sitting in a room together chatting like they had met ages ago. Remembering the awkward moments when there had been nothing to say, she smiled to herself, thinking of where they were now, talking like long lost friends. She jerked slightly at his question, it having taken her off her guard. "Why?" She asked, her tone one of surprise and a possible hurt. The question itself, if it was written down, could come across as rude but the feeling that was put into it, made her see the true meaning. "I don't know. Perhaps 1 or 2 weeks." She said, her timing inexact as she wasn't sure herself. It would depend on how things went and what happened really.

Alois smiled gently as Amelia spoke, he's surely miss her once she leave, he'll miss those times that they had shared, as friends, and very good ones at that. He knew that her leaving was inevitable though, that there's nothing that he could really possibly do to prevent her from doing so, it's just that, if he could, then he would have extended the time, if he could, then he would have tried to at least stop the time from moving. "That would be... sooner than I had expected." He said, trying to make his tone casual though he was actually quite sad of the news. He had grown to be rather attached to her. Feeling that he shouldn't really dwell on those negative feelings when all they had left were just a few days, Alois tried to smile once again, he'd better make those days memorable and worth it for her, he'd better not make her feel sad or anything on those days that she had left in the area, before she would have to set on her own way.

Amy frowned slightly. Now that it came to it, she didn't want to leave Alois. Feeling an attachment that she knew was stronger than just friendship, she put her hand on his in a comforting manner, hoping to tell him that she knew how he felt and that she felt exactly the same way about it all. Seeing a weak smile come from him, she returned it, but no matter how much she tried to do it properly, it came out weakly. Feeling sad again she would have to leave, she was also very happy that he felt the same way and seemed upset for her as well. Sighing inwardly, she decided to lighten the mood. "Ok then, well lets make the most of it. I have nothing to do, so i am yours for the next 2 weeks." She said with a smile, suddenly thinking how nice it would be to 'be his'.

Alois had had to laugh when Amelia tried to lighten up the mood between them, of course, he was grateful that she did that. After all, it would be a waste of their time if they continue to wallow over something that cannot be changed. They just need to live by the moment, enjoy every second of it, and try as they might to make their remaining days something that is unforgettable. "I feel honored Amy." He said, smiling at her. "But wouldn't it be too much to say that you're mine by then?" Alois knew that once she left, their communication would be minimal, probably through letters only, yet, he didn't mind, he was happy just to be a part of her life, and her, a part of his.

Amy smiled. Frowning slightly, she felt that she misinterpreted his words. "No." She replied, her tone blunt but her mind wandering as she tried to work out the meaning behind the words. She wanted to 'be his' for the next few weeks. After all, which girl in her right mind would turn down a handsome, friendly, caring, lovely guy who seemed to actually appreciate girls' company. Smiling again at her luck, she tried to think back to his words and find the hidden meaning behind them. So far, she had enjoyed his company for every second, and she didn't want that to change for the next few weeks.

Taking a last sip on his coffee, Alois watched whither Amelia was done as well, they still had a long day ahead on them, and he's going to make it worth it, as much as he can anyways. "Let's go once you're done." He said, smiling lightly as his eyes were fixed on her, watching her every actions. He knew that he was lucky to have her as a company, and he's honored that she seemed to be enjoying his company as well. Though they only had a few days left ahead of him, if they were going to make it memorable, then it will all be alright.

Sorry, lame post.. :r

Any smiled at Alois and gulped down the last dregs of her coffee. Putting the mug on the table, she nodded and stood up, picking up her bag and coat behind her. Looping her shoulder bag over her arm, and her coat on loosely, she pushed her chair back and left a few coins on the table for the approaching waitress. She wondered whether Alois would ask 'the question' as to whether they would date for the short time or not. Some guys didn't, and Amy was fine with that, but secretly, she would prefer the question to be asked and therefore her chance to enjoy his company to the maximum in the coming weeks. "Where to?" She asked as she reached the door and opened it, letting in a relieving draft of cool air in the hot room.

Alois followed Amelia's actions and had started to fix himself as well. He had something that he would have to ask her, but still, he cannot find the words on how to say it, he cannot even figure out the right time for him to ask such thing. And lastly, he wasn't even sure if she'll accept it, it would be short lived and that's something that she wouldn't probably like just like him, now if only they didn't have to part. "Your choice Amy." He said as he took the door from her, gesturing for her to move out before him, just like what a gentleman would always do. Honestly, though he had prepared for the said day, he hadn't really thought of the place where they could go.
