Noah wasn't entirely sure why he had been made captain but it had to meant he had done something right in Abigail and Micha's eyes, right? Especially since Abigail never seemed to like many of them. Perhaps it had been that one time that he had passed the quaffle to her during a game. He'd probably never know. What he did know was that he had one year left on the team and he was set on making it a good one. "Morning all," Noah greeted the team when they gathered on the pitch. "No big speeches, no running laps around the pitch. Just a second to welcome our new team members and let's get to it. You all know what you've got to do." He told them, motioning towards Hadrian and Ocean before releasing the snitch and the bludgers, holding off throwing the quaffle into the air for a minute until the other chasers had gotten onto their brooms.

No arrivals, let's jump right in.

 

[Ocean Keeley]

Ocean wasn't surprised she had made the team. She had been ready last year when she wasn't allowed to try out and she was ready now. Even if alternate seeker hadn't been the position she had been aiming for she knew she would be fine. She could always try out for beater again next year. For now, she was just pleased to be a part of the team. She gave a casual wave when the captain motioned towards her and made sure to quickly hop onto her broom when he started practice.

 

[Nabi Mun]

Nabi took to the air immediately and started looking around. To her surprise, the snitch was right there! She grabbed it, holding it up. "Uh, Noah?" She called

 

[Gwydion Amos]

Dion jumped straight to it when practice started, he was a bit distracted with final exams coming up so Quidditch was a good way to blow off steam. Although it didn't mean he was suddenly anywhere close to accurate, missing his hit.

 

[Hadrian Murphy]

Hadrian was pretty excited to get to play Quidditch, he liked sports both muggle and magical and was quick to go for the quaffle when the chance came up, even if he was momentarily distracted by the seeker getting the snitch already.

Dion looked around for bludgers to hit as he started warming up a bit more.

 

[Hadrian Murphy]

Hadrian approached the hoops, but he wasn't good enough to get the quaffle through them. His shot was a bit weak and easily blocked by the keeper. It would just take a bit more practice.

 

[Zoey Hawkins]

Zoey took to the air quickly and sighed when the new chaser got to the quaffle first. That was fine. She just kept close and rolled her eyes when he missed. It was a good thing they were at practice. She grabbed the ball next and started to loop around before heading to the hoops again.

 

[Noah Webb]

Noah hopped ontp his broom a little later than the rest, grinning when Nabi questioningly called out to him while already holding the snitch. “Keep that up!” He called out before flying after Zoey.

 

[Ocean Keeley]

Ocean watched in surprise when the older seeker caught the snitch right away, wondering if that had been skill or luck.

 

[Gwydion Amos]

Dion swiped at a bludger kind of lazily.

 

[Hadrian Murphy]

Hadrian followed after the older chaser, hoping to pick up some tips from her.

 

[Ocean Keeley]

Ocean looked around, trying not to feel too jealous of the team’s beaters.

 

[Zoey Hawkins]

Zoey approached the hoops and threw the quaffle with all the force she could manage. She frowned when her shot was blocked. With a sigh she waited to see if anyone would grab it or if she could have a go again.

Ocean looked around.

 

[Noah Webb]

Noah grabbed the quaffle after Zoey’s shot had been blocked.

Ocean thought she saw something but it disappeared just as quickly.

Noah flew a lap around the pitch and then threw the quaffle straight through the left hoop.

Dion hit a bludger to nowhere.

 

[Hadrian Murphy]

Hadrian watched the other chasers handle the quaffle for a bit but saw his chance to get some more practice. He took possession and flew around making sure he had control of the quaffle while moving.

Dion thought he'd try and whack a bludger at the seeker, but he totally whiffed and the bludger slammed into @Pearl Parra instead. He shrugged, vaguely looking over to see if their keeper was alright.

[Hadrian Murphy]

Hadrian got a bit distracted seeing the keeper take a bludger hit and his throw was way off. Practicing tossing a ball around with his siblings and cousins was way different than Quidditch, but he'd keep working on it.

 

[Gwydion Amos]

This time the bludger hit its target, but he kind of felt bad about it because @Nabi Mun was so tiny. Part of the game though.

Hadrian hung back a moment to see if the older chasers picked up the quaffle and definitely didn't hit the wrong action button by mistake.
