I Wanted To See You

Conan had spent his time alone the whole year. He didn't mind being alone at all. He always thought that it would have been rather sad, but he figured out that it wasn't much of a difference. He would just go out and maybe look for trouble if he got bored. He could always got to the Kitchens whenever he was hungry. The young Hufflepuff could do almost everything he desired. Although, he had to admit that after seeing Amelia once again, he felt lonely after not being able to see her again. It was no lie that he missed the said Slytherin and wanted to see her before the year ends, as it would of course, take some time before the school year starts once again. He had already decided to resume coming to his classes, all in the effort to see the girl in class.

Being bothered by his head that he wanted to see Amelia, he changed into his casual clothes and grabbed his soccer ball with him. He went down to the dungeons, realizing that he hadn't put much thought about this. Of course he wouldn't be able to come to the Slytherin common room. But then again, he would take his chance, actually hoping that the girl would pass by and see him. Putting the ball to the ground and kicking it to the direction of the wall, it would bounce back and he'd just kick it again. Keeping his eyes and ears sharp, he waited for Amelia to pass by if ever she would.

Amelia was not in a good mood. She hated Hogwarts. She hated everything about it, especially the people. She hated going to classes but she wanted to get somewhere in the world after school so for now she was sucking it up and going. Plus there was one person in particular who she wanted to see. Ever since they had played football in first year she hadn't been able to stop thinking about him. She had never felt this way about someone before. She wasn't really sure what she was feeling, she couldn't put it into words which was very unusual for herself. She hadn't seen him in ages and even though she would never say it she missed him. Amelia was confused, in her mind boys had always annoying beings who weren't worth her time but Conan was different.

Amelia walked down into the common room. The place always depressed her. She needed to get out of there quick, she hated the green color. She quickly walked out, planning on making her way to the Great Hall for something to eat. She looked around as she heard the sound of a football being kicked against a wall. She looked over and her heart speed up. She bit her lip and smiled. She walked over "Hey"She said smiling.

Conan sighed a bit as he continued to kick the ball. He had been there waiting for a while now, at least that was what he thought. It was too dark to tell the time in the dungeons, but the boy still had more energy so he decided to wait some more. He wondered if Amelia would be passing by anytime soon. It was okay to wait for her and he could only hope that she wouldn't be bothered by his actions, since after all, it was mostly on impulse. He felt like a bit of an idiot that he didn't even consider that he can't enter the Slytherin Common Room, and the nearest he can get to her was in the dungeons. It felt a bit depressing there, but the Hufflepuff didn't mind.

As he kicked and kicked the ball, his ears had heard the voice they were waiting for and because of that, he missed the last kick. It would be very embarrassing. He looked over to the direction he heard the voice and smiled as the beating of his heart got a bit louder and faster. "Hey," he replied back as he approached her. He nearly couldn't believe that he saw her and she noticed him. "I was uh, passing by?" he said as he rubbed the back of his neck and shook his head. "Actually... I came here to see you," he smiled as he looked into her eyes, fairly a bit embarrassed by what he had said. Conan could only hope that it would not drive her away from him.
