Courtney forced a weak smile and got up from where she was sitting to go and give Kaela a hug. She realized it would be better to support her friend than to dwell on how shocked she was. "I can't believe you're leaving. But if you need to be with your family, I understand, and I'm sure everyone else does too. Remeber to write me like every day, and I'll make sure your side of the room is kept tidy until you get back."

Estrella was unsure what to do, whether to rush forward and console Kaela as Courtney had done or to stand back and allow them their space. She bit her lip, not wanting to break any moments, and deciding to wait her turn. She was extremely sad that Kaela was leaving. She would find it quite lonely without Kaela there.
