Serena Cardosi: Although I took the ACT, I had to take this Compass test once I got into College too. It was weird
  • Today, 10:15 PM
Professor Cyndi Kingsley: I never took the ACT. None of the colleges that I applied to required it.
Briar Rowan-Cullen: Yep the end of school/end of year exams. :s good luck.
Hadan Hensel: We call those finals. They are awful. I have four coming soon.
Briar Rowan-Cullen: Okay. I don't think we have anything like that here. We have the naplan which is in years 3,5, 9 but I am pretty sure that is only used to rank the school. And we have wake exams which are the end of school ones.
Hadan Hensel: The high scores in math that I made determined what classes I needed to take. I got to choose between College Algebra and Precalculus. Naturally, I chose both, despite taking AP Calculus in high school. =))
    Briar Rowan-Cullen: Ahh okay.
Hadan Hensel: There is probably a lot more to it. xD
  • Today, 9:50 PM
Hadan Hensel: Well, the CRCT I think is a Georgia exam for elementary and middle schools, while the ACT is a federal exam for juniors in high school. The scores are then turned over to the college.
Briar Rowan-Cullen: What is crct and act?
