*insert interesting title here*
Yeah can't think of anything right now but meh
So not much to report on about today. It mainly consisted of people freaking out over my new hair cut :lawlz: It was very funny seeing some of the reactions, especially the ones where people started shouting in the library :r: The general consenus was, they liked it and thought it suited me but they loved my hair when it was long. I'm looking forward to tomorrow for two girls reactions in particular, the one that kept telling me to do it and the other that I know loves my hair when it's straight (she has said a number of times that she would just LOVE to straighten my hair and just do it all up fancy like :huh:) Tomorrow should also be interesting when my mum sees it, she'll freak out -_- Chris will react funny to it as well. Also my cousin might be coming over and well he's bald so he's going to get a laugh out of this
Not much else happened today, I had my boring lecture - Study and Research Skills. It is sooo boring and work is crap. We have to make a CD-ROM with a load of things on it to help new first years e.g. fire exits, different examples of letters. We also have an IT part to it where we make a questionnaire and put the data into a programme called SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences - I think) then do a presentation of it in Week 11 (this was week 7). We also have an exam for this module on Week 12 (and the rest of our exams aren't until January) We also have a short presentation to do next week, only 2-3 mins long on anything we want. Yeah no one in my class has any hobbies, apart from me and my line dancing :lawlz: Everyone wants me to take up the whole class so they don't have to do anything
the sad thing is I could probably do it -_-
The rest of my day has consisted off, getting books for my essay due on Wednesday, coming home (my kitchen was a TIP so I spent about 30mins washing the dishes and worktops etc) and then I had pasta with sauce and mince with one of my flat mates, all while watching more of my GG DVD =wub= When I got back to my flat I turned on my phone as I forgot my charger at my friends house last week and want to perserve the battery life as much as possible, anyway I had a message from my line dancing teacher (Cathy) enquiring if I have left line dancing![]()
I thought it was sweet. I haven't been in three weeks now
She knew why I couldn't go the first week and I haven't text her to let her know but I did see two of the people from my class so I though they would have told her, obviously not
She also sent me a message on FB with the same comment
After that I came upstairs and here I amHaven't done much today but the good thing is tomorrow is the end of the week and then I can go home and have my mum freak out over my hair
Oh I should mention that I'm addicted to the Glee soundtrack after seeing Emmah and Jesse's convo about it today I had to go look up the songs (Sweet Caroline is what got me because I LOVE that song =wub= ) Anyway as some of you know I have to teach the children at the Youth Club a dance and I haven't been able to find a song. Well I think I found the perfect oneIt's amazing, lively, jumpy and full of life, not to mention different and something to maybe get the judges attention. I can't wait to let the kids here it next week and I hope they like it as much as I do. (I think Emmah mentioned she liked this one which is why I looked it up
Also one of the children asked me to do Halo last night so yay
( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X44b9RTtkAs ) Anyone got any comments or suggestions on other songs (they have to be 3mins long or shorter not longer but I might be able to cut them
)
Finally a big shout out to Toneh who I'm currently not talking to on MSN because I'm writing this
Over and out
